There is always something going on in the world of tea. Here’s a bit of the latest.
A new study out of the University of Florida shows that green tea extract is effective in lowering LDL cholesterol by 9 mg/DL after just 3 months, and was able to lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure by 5 and 4 mgHg respectively afer just 3 weeks.
When people workout, chances are they do it to burn calories. Why then do they drink a nearly equivalent number of calories after their workout “rehydrating” with a sports drink.
It’s sounds silly. Why would anyone like you more just because you drink tea?
Well, oddly enough when you share a cup of hot tea with another person, that person is more likely to judge you as being a warm, friendly person than if you were to serve them a tall glass of ice water.
Well, ok, not the worst thing. But it is a really bad idea.
